Petra Nemcova (in Czech pronunciation: [pɛtra ɲɛmtsova ː], born June 24, 1979 in Karviná, Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic) is a Czech model, television host, writer and philanthropist. She is founder and president of Happy Hearts Fund. In December 2004, she was injured in Thailand by the tsunami after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, then his fiancé, photographer Simon Atli was killed in the tsunami.
